Nightmare on Greyhound Dreamliner from JHB to CT.

I travelled with 2 children and a teenager on 26/12/19 from JHB to CT on the 1pm bus. What a nightmare! (1)As we left JHB Park Station, we tried connecting to the WiFi and were very disappointed to find that there was no WiFi. At the first stop I asked the driver to connect the WiFi to which he rep**** that the WiFi was not connected at the station before we boarded. So I called the customer services and the first time I called the call centre agent said he'd call me back - still waiting for that one. A little later I called the customer care line again and I was then told by a different person that there is nothing which can be done about connecting the WiFi. So imagine trying to keep the kids entertained for the duration of the trip without a movie!!! (2) Soon we felt the heat on the road and reached to adjust the temperature above our heads to an acceptable temperature. To our surprise, the temperature could not be adjusted. So, I waited for our next stop and asked the driver to adjust the temperature to cooler so we can relax only to be told that the temperature cannot be adjusted. So during the day we practically boiled in the bus. Night time came and the temperature dropped outside the bus so we needed to increase the temperature. Unfortunately that could not be done either according to the driver - so this time we were unable to sleep as the temperature inside the bus was below the temperature outside the bus. (3) The bus was dirty so we did not store our bags in the storage area above our seats but chose to put it on the floor of the bus which was less dirty. The seats had marks on and the headrest infront of me as well as one other had brown dirt marks on it - clearly left by previous passengers. (4) As we were driving along the mountain pass the bus jerked and the driver had to pull into the yellow lane and rev a few times before we could continue our journey towards the fairest Cape. (5) The best for last. 18 hours on a bus with a toilet on board that has no water for flushing. No toilet paper for wiping. And no soap for hand washing. Someone unfortunately vomited and could not flush and could not wipe the mess and then a sensitive passenger saw the mess and also had a vomit. Children and older persons continued using the toilet to relieve themselves and the driver did not once consider stopping at the countless garages along the way to give us a chance to relieve ourselves. Though I saw him rush off to relieve himself at a garage when either they swapped shifts or did paperwork.

What a nightmare, especially since taking the Greyhound instead of the Citiliner has a price difference which is supposed to be more comfortable with WiFi, reclining seats, toilet on board and USB charge points. I believe that's false advertising and Greyhound should be held accountable.
