Horrible service from the Greyhound bus, use it at your own risk.

We were travelling from Johannesburg on the 5th of October 2023 to Cape Town. The bus was delayed by 3 hours from departure in Joburg, when it finally arrived the aircon was not working and the charging ports as well. When it got to Colesberg we stopped for an hour and thirty minutes waiting for drivers that are coming from Cape Town to exchange with the drivers from Johannesburg and as a result of that we arrived 6/7 hours later than the expected time of arrival. Unfortunately we had already booked a return ticket for the 7th of October 2023 and the journey was just as bad as the previous one. Aircon was not working, charging ports weren’t working as well and the bus drivers on our way to Joburg were stopping the bus to pick up hitchhikers. It was overall a horrible experience with the bus, rather use another bus than Greyhound because the service is of the lowest level.
