“Greyhound Left Us Stranded on the Highway – Forced to Pay Our Own Transport

Greyhound / Citiliner service is unacceptable. On 24 Dec the bus got stuck on the highway and passengers (including myself and my minor child) were told to book our own Uber or call for help. We were effectively abandoned on the highway with no assistance or proper communication. This is the second incident of delays and poor communication. I had to borrow money to get transport as we are not even from Johannesburg. A generic “sorry for the inconvenience” is not enough when safety is compromised. I’ve now lodged a formal complaint with the NCC. Do better.
