Greyhound Bus BJ 77 ZS GP - Kamakazi Driver behind wheel

Greyhound has absolutely NO concern for the wellbeing and safety of their passengers if one must judge by the reckless standard of driving of their Greyhound/Citiliner buses. Firstly, I'd like to say that I have tried to pursue the matter both telephonically and via email with Greyhound in order to obtain a satisfactory answer/solution to the incident. Sadly to say it appears as if they do not care about the safety of either their passengers nor that of other road users. I had an incident as far back as 24 August this year while traveling on the M1 north bound at about 19H15 homeward bound. Traffic conditions were in keeping with that of a Friday night at that time. I saw a pair of headlights rapidly closing the gap behind me (I was traveling at about 105Kph). I could see that the vehicle could not be a regular passenger car due to the spacing of the headlights behind me. The vehicle closed the gap to about 1-2 metres behind my vehicle and tried to "Bully" me out of the way. I kept the same speed and dabbed the break pedal to only activate the break lights. The vehicle slacked off a bit and then closed the gap again. [In my mirror I made out the name Greyhound] I told my wife that we should endeavour to get the registration number of the bus. When it was safe and convenient to change lanes I did so. I slacked off and the bus drew abreast of us and we held back to get the Reg. No. To make matters worse we discovered that the bus was towing a luggage trailer as well. I dropped back further until we could get the trailer Reg. No. too. The bus then moved to the middle lane ahead of me. I then managed to change lanes and move abreast of the bus and also get the Fleet No. of the bus and also take a picture of the driver. The incident was telephonically reported to the Tracking Centre the following week. I was requested to place all the relevant in an email to the company. This was done - I still have copies of all correspondence and names of individuals with whom I spoke in order to determine the "Official View" of the company regarding such reckless and dangerous driving. I had NO feedback whatsoever from any individual that I could even remotely consider to hold a position of responsibility in the Company (a Public Company at that!). After a few weeks I eventually received an email - signed by what I would consider to be a 3rd tier secretary without any official title. The brief note simply stated "the matter has been dealt with in accordance to the company's HR procedures". I responded to the email with a request that Senior manager please be courteous enough to phone me as I was not satisfied with the response I had just received. [In my note I threatened that if I did not have the necessary response within 3 working days I would address the matter with the local newspapers and Hellopeter] That threat also has not resulted in a response from Greyhound. It appears that Greyhound does not care one iota for their passengers or any other road users. It was about this time that the serious accident on the road to Polokwane occurred and resulted in the unnecessary deaths of about 25 people! How many deaths would result from such reckless driving of a Greyhound Bus with a luggage trailer behind it? Such driving deserves to result in Instant Dismissal - a long suspension at the very least. If any of Greyhounds directors or other senior staff maybe read posts such as this and care to show a measure or concern for their future passengers lives then they really need to do something to remedy the matter. Here is the relevant details: Bus Reg. No. BJ 77 ZS GP. Bus Fleet No. C2535. and Trailer Reg. No. NGN 622 GP. Date: Friday 24 August 2018 @ 19H15 on M1 North

Final Note to Greyhound; Bus accidents are way more serious than a passenger vehicle accident!

If you CARE - then DO SOMETHING !!!!
