FAMILY JOURNEY FROM JOHANNESBURG TO POLOKWANE

Good day, trust you are well.

My family's first experience using Greyhound Bus services on the 28th November 2022, was extremely horrible, Firstly the tickets were confirmed to depart from Johannesburg and arrive in Polokwane.

Firstly,The bus was late it was supposed to depart 9am, we were told that the bus is late, anyway a bus arrives at 11am.

Secondly, My family consisting of four adult females and one four year old are on board and need to use the toilet facility provided on the bus, which they were unable to during the entire six hour journey due to the unhygienic nature, I am told the you could not even enter the toilet that's how bad it smells, even whilst you're in your passenger seat one can get that awful, terrible smell coming from the toilet.

Neither does the bus stop en route.

This really makes one wonder, is this supposed to be the kind of standards set out by a privately owned trust

"Unitrans Passenger" a division of Greyhound bus services which is part of the operating division of Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KAP International Holdings – which as of 2012 owns the industrial assets of the Steinhoff Africa group.

I honestly don't think the service you render for a privately owned company is worth the money spent, due to unhygienic conditions whilst traveling.
