Do NOT use Greyhound

NEVER i repeat NEVER take Greyhound its not worth the dissapointment and drama. My wife booked 3 tickets 1 for her and 2 for my kids from Cape Town to Pta. The lady that assisted us confirmed pick up is at Cpt station. Upon arrival we were informed that it's to dangerous to board the bus at the station but a less luxurious bus will transport them from the station to Brackenfell where they will board the Greyhound bus (I don't know how that makes it less dangerous). I took them to Brackenfell to the pick up point. The bus was scheduled to leave at 11:00, the bus only arrived at 13:00. I asked several times at the kiosk desk what time the bus will arrive and only received a shrug of the shoulders. Eventually after the bus arrived it was chaos seats doesn't get allocated so people started pushing to get in, this caused my wife and children to sit in completely separate seats far from each other although seats was booked for all 3 on the same ticket. The bus left only at 14:14. The nightmare did not stop there. The aircon in the bus is out of order and this was only discovered after one of the passengers asked the driver to switch the aircon on, and hot air was blown into the bus. The charging points on the bus is also out of order so relying on the fact that you will be able to charge your phone is also not an option. This is beyond pathetic. Safe yourself the dissapointment of traveling with Greyhound its not what it used to be.
