Dissatisfied Greyhound Passenger

I've never been so unhappy with the service Greyhound is currently offering.

I took the 07:15 bus to Johannesburg from Durban on the 6th of November.

1. The bus as usual was not on time, time of departure was 07:15 from Durban Station and we only left at 8:15. No apologies, just business as usual.

2. We had no source of ventilation on the bus, no A/C or even Fan for that matter. Mind you the temperature outside is around 30°c so you can imagine how uncomfortable it is inside the bus also take into account that we are traveling with elderly people.

3. From 8am to 15:11 we were not given a opportunity to get some fresh air, stretch our legs or even purchase refreshments. Again WE ARE TRAVELLING WITH ELDERLY PEOPLE. Major of the People who departed from Durban were hungry and irritated worst of all thirsty.

4. Our bus has stopped about 6 times due to engine faults (engine overheating) mind you we stop dead in the middle of the road putting our lives as passengers in danger especially more with the rise of truck accidents. Again drives felt no need to let us know or even apologise for the inconvenience. This is a clear indication that your fleet is not serviced as its supposed to be. Also according to the driver he did report that the bus was faulty yet management chose to ignore this and still told him to use said bus.

5. We got stranded in Springs from 23:00 to 01:15am. That's when the driver decided to then tell us the problems that bus encountered and only then did he call dispatch to get another bus that only arrived at 01:15 to collect us and just dump us at Park Station without even asking or making sure we were safe at 1:15 outside of park station.

I'm not sure what kind of business model you guys use cause it's currently not working for you. As I write this email we've made another impromptu stop again.

We are tired as passengers of being ****** by companies like yours, if you check your records you'll notice that this is not my first complaint (on Facebook) to you guys and no one has ever bothered following up.

I trust this matter will be taken seriously
