Due to unforeseen family circumstances beyond my control, I was forced to cancel my trip on the Greyhound bus liner. I was informed by Zinhle( Agent22) that I can keep the tickets for later use within 6 months with a 20% admin charge, and that I am not eligible for a refund because I had cancelled only a little over 24 hours before my trip, instead of 48 hours before my trip.

I requested that they reconsider this condition, as I will not be travelling with their liner in the next 6 months, and would instead like to be refunded.

I was advised that my refund application has been received and unfortunately cannot be granted as the travel tickets were not cancelled 48 hours prior to departure.

I then made them aware that I was never made aware of their Terms and Condition upon purchasing their ticket by the sales representative, I never signed to accept them. I gave over 24 hour notice for my cancellation, I never used their services and I do not intend to use their service in the next 6 months.

I was told that I would have been issued with a Greyhound Specific ticket wallet at the point of sale outlining their specific Terms & Conditions. If I were not issued with a Greyhound Ticket wallet, I may refer my enquiry to the Administration Manager at the store in question(Shoprite Checkers) and lodge a complaint directly with them. - Passing the buck!!

I then told them that the sales person was representing Greyhound at the point of sale, and according to the CPA, they have to make customers aware of the terms and conditions prior to concluding the transaction. The ticket wallet was only presented to me after the purchase was made. I was never made to read and accept the terms and condition. I was never even told that the terms and conditions are on the ticket wallet, therefor I feel the transaction was not done in good faith.

I want my money back!!
