Citiliner Plus Bad Service !!!

Citiliner comfort liner coaches did not impress me. I booked a bus from Pietermaritzburg to Johannesburg for Saturday evening, 7 January 2023. The bus was supposed to arrive at 21:15 that evening, but it didn't arrive until 23:10. I called the after-hours office to report the delay and find out what was causing it, and I was only told that the bus was on its way. This happened every 30 minutes the bus was late. There were no apologies, only attitudes from the person I was speaking with on the phone. When the bus arrived, the driver did not help me put my luggage in the bus compartment beneath the bus. Everyone was treated rudely by the driver, who had no control over the passengers. When I boarded the bus, other Durban passengers were reserving seats for their friends, which complicated matters when I wanted to sit. The driver was unconcerned about the other passengers' actions. Because the driver was late, the entire bus trip was rushed. Instead of stopping at Montrose, as all buses do, the driver stopped at a Caltex garage after Montrose, where the food selection was limited. That was completely unacceptable. The bus toilet door could not be locked, so when people were inside doing their business, the door kept opening. This was completely unsanitary for everyone on the bus. The bus ticket was overpriced for no reason. I expected good service for such a high price, but it was just as bad as other cheap buses on the road. Citiliner Plus's quality and standards have severely worsened. This bus service is not one that I would recommend to anyone.
