Beyond disappointing!

We thought other reviews were exaggerating but they weren't! It's all true. The route shown on their website was the N3, departing Pretoria, stopping in Harrismith and ending in Durban. We however, took the alternate route and at some places didn't even stay on that! We even detoured to remote towns like Glencoe. There was no air-conditioning and the engine was blasting gusts of hot air through an inspection cover at the rear of the bus. This lifted every time the bus accelerated. The toilet door didn't close properly and we were forced to endure revolting smells every time it was used. A journey that should have taken 8-10 hours took nearly 12! And culminated with us driving very fast down Town Hill into Pietermaritzburg. A very dangerous stretch of road, known for accidents. We found it very scary and will definitely not choose the Greyhound/Citiliner bus service ever again!
