Almost lost my life beacuse of Grethound being ********

<p>On the 09thJune 2016 I took a Greyhound bus from Johannesburg to King Williams Town. It was set to arrive in KWT on the 10th at 5:30am but that was never the case.</p> <p> </p> <p>Greyhound let us buy tickets to the Eastern Cape knowing very well that there was a protect that they were warned about in the whole of EC. We were stuck 10Kilometres before KWT from 06:40am beacuse the road was barricaded with burning tyres and there was no where through. We were there waiting while the driver communicated with the office and he said to us there was nothing he could do but wait as he was told by the office.</p> <p>Around 8:45am the protesters decided to attack the bus while we were inside. stones were being thrown at us, glasses landing on us. As a result we lost bags , phones and were left traumatized.</p> <p> </p> <p>To my shock Greyhound does not take any responsibility of what happened to us. In that 1:30hrs that we were waiting the bus could have turned around taken a different route or stop at Stutterheim as that was the safest thing to do. Not Greyhound instead they send sms's to say the journey could no longer continue as the bus was vandalised. They did not care how we all get to our final distinations and yet we paid for the trip.</p>
