Non payment of storage deposit

I was renting a storage unit from Gregory Storage in Elandsfontein. I paid one month's deposit up front when renting which was payable before I could rent the store. I never experienced any problems with the company except tbat they just do not pay my depisit back. I rented the store on a 30 day notice period. During the middle of Sep 2018, I gave them out of cortecy 6 weeks notice that I will vacate the unit at the end of Oct 2018. However, I vacated the store wt tge end of Sep which enabled the storage company to rentbit out fpr Oct tnus earning double rent, which I dud not mind at all. I thought that they will refund my deposit at the endbof Oct, but when I received nothing, I was informed by the company that I have to wait 30 days after a full notice month has gone by which meant that I would get it at the end of Nov. During the first week of Dec after not receiving anthing, I sent them mails and was promised that it woukd be paid on 7 Dec. However, that did not happen either wnd when I called them during the 2nd week of Dec, I was yet again it will be paid on tge 14th. Today us thd 18th and when I called this miorning as I still have not received any payment, I was accused of beingvrude by the lady who answered the phone and was told that everynidy is away on holiday and the person who is supposed to oay my deposit is overseas and I now have to wait untill tbey re-open in Jan.

My deposit is not a huge amount of money, but I cannot sit back and just accept bad service like this having to beg for my depisit, waiting about 3 months and then not even be sure if they are blatanly going to just ***** it from me.
