WONT GET CLOSURE TO MY CASE

I did my shopping at this mall on Friday 27/11/2015 at around 13H30 and 15h00 of which one of my item got lost which was a new Asus Laptop from (House and Home) I suspect that as I was unpacking all the staff that I bought from trolley onto the car, maybe the laptop box got left inside the trolley. when I got home I realized that the Laptop was not there then i called the shopping center management and was told that if they find it then they will get back to me but was transferred to center security who also told me the same thing. I went back personally at the center management on Monday to see if they had found it, unfortunately not. I asked Lerato one of the center management staff at reception if it was possible for me to get the CCVTV/Camera footage for me to find closure to my lost, she told me the Center Cameras where Out off order and were not working on that day but I insisted on getting the reason as to why such an enormous center would operate without Cameras i never got an answer and I'am very concern with this. Now I would like to find Closure to my case and wish to get the camera footage to be sure how i lost my laptop that I bought for R3980.
