Bad attitude-Not customer friendly

I would not recommend Greenstone Autobody based on my experience. After my vehicle was repaired, I discovered that my window tint had been damaged. When I returned to the workshop, I felt like I was being treated as though I was lying. The staff member assisting me was reluctant to let me view all of the photographs taken before the repair. It was only because I insisted on reviewing the images myself that I found the damage to the tint. Had I not done that, I genuinely believe the damage would have been denied and never rectified. Although the tint was eventually replaced, it was fitted with a lighter shade than the original. More recently, the repaired paintwork has started peeling. Instead of showing concern, I was once again met with a dismissive attitude. Barry's response was to tell me that what I described "did not happen" regarding my previous experience, effectively accusing me of being dishonest. As a customer, being told that your own experience never happened is both disrespectful and unprofessional. I was also told I had to take time off work and travel across Johannesburg so they could inspect the peeling paint because they needed "tools" simply to determine whether the paint was peeling. I offered reasonable alternatives, including inspecting the vehicle at my workplace during the week or my home on the weekend, but these were dismissed. To ensure I wasn't mistaken, I had another autobody repairer inspect the vehicle while it was being evaluated for sale. They also identified issues with the paintwork. Good customer service isn't just about repairing vehicles—it's about how customers are treated when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed, accused of being untruthful, and expected to absorb the inconvenience and cost of resolving issues that resulted from the original repair. Based on my experience, I have lost confidence in this workshop and would not use their services again.
