Irrigation Installation Experience of Greenrose

I hired Green Rose Irrigation (Kelvin — *** , ***, 219 Belgravia Rd, Athlone, Cape Town: FNB ***)) for an installation project valued at just under R50,000. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive.

The work was never completed, and after more than a month of waiting, the irrigation system was still not functioning. Although I tried to be patient and understanding about the personal challenges Kelvin shared, the project did not progress.

Notable issues included:

Incomplete work despite repeated follow-ups.

Second-hand drip pipes brought to site that did not match the quotation (I declined these).

Quoted items not executed during installation.

Pipes installed very shallowly, which left the system vulnerable and gave the impression of rushed workmanship.

After giving multiple opportunities for the work to be finalised, I eventually had to abandon the process and seek alternative help.

This review is not written in anger, but in honesty. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending this service to others.
