False promises

As a first time mom, I opted to order all my baby's needs and accessories in advance.I contacted Greendot baby to enquire about their car seat and pram prices.After telling the retailer that I was getting a better deal elsewhere,she matched the price.The retailer told me that the Nuna Pipa car seat is compatible with the Mima pram chassis, so I based my purchases on this.I received my parcel in good timing, however I did not open and assemble the pram immediately as I knew I would not need it right away and did not want to strain myself in my final leg of pregnancy. After my baby was born prem and when we tried to assemble the pram,I found that there were parts missing and I also discovered that I received old stock! It was also the retailers job to come assemble it themselves- to prevent problems like these.<br> So I had an incomplete pram and a car seat that didn't fit correctly on the pram chassis. After back and forth arguments with Greendot baby, I returned the car seat but lost a 25% handling fee which is unfair for their mistake! l had to order my pram elsewhere where there was a waiting period of 2months.I also lost out on using my pram for the recommended period of 6 months!
