Theft of 3 laptops

Green solar are ********** and *******. They have allowed not 1,not 2 but 3 laptops to grow legs and walk out of the classroom. They say its not their responsibility yet we were asked to bring our laptops to class which we did not use. Nobody took responsibility not even tje director came in to ask what happened. I was asked just to lay a report of theft. I continuously sent emails with delayed response, called the office to be told that they were at a solar expo and then 8 days later get an email after I sent an email to follow up, that they are not responsible. What the... Over 20k for the course and theft of an i7 Dell laptop as well as traveling and accommodation costs. Who should be responsible?????
