Don't expect Green Cube Landscaping to arrive for appointments made with them

Last year I contacted Green Cube Landscapes for garden services for the house I was about to sell. The service was friendly and profession and I made an appointment with them and they arrived at the designated time. For the months before I sold the house they provided excellent service. Last year MayI moved into a townhouse with a small garden and I contacted them again about a week ago. The office was very professional and helpful and advised me to phoned the person responsible for coming out to do the quotes. He told me up front that they have a flat rate of R950 no matter how small the garden. They also do only once a week and not once a month etc. This was fine and I requested he come out and have a look and suggested we go from there to make a decision. Obviously the fact that I have a small garden seemed to be reason enough to not arrive for our appointment that Thursday after five. I sent two whats-up messages which my phone showed he received and read. He did not arrive for the appointment and did not bother to inform me of that. This is unacceptable behavior. In a time when business owners complain about the tough economy I do find that kind of attitude odd. Needless to say I will not be doing any business with Green Cube Landscapes in the future.
