Shocking Service
My mother visited the Green Cross store in Blue Route (Cape Town) and the service she received (when they bothered to pay attention to her) was appalling. Firstly she was ignored by the assistants and then forgotten about and when they finally decided to help her they chose to shame and judge her because in her life she has had several injuries and subsequent surgeries to her leg and foot and as a result her feet are not perfect. They actually said the style of shoe she wanted wouldn't look nice because of the way her foot is. She specifically requires the support that Green Cross shoes provide. They wouldn't even call another store to check for her size. She left empty-handed and humiliated. She needs shoes but I don't know if going to a different branch is going to make a difference.
Dear Tracey
Please accept our sincere apologies for the unfortunate experience you and your mother had in our store and thank you so much for bringing the matter to our attention.
One of our call centre agents will be in touch with you shortly to assist you and see how we can best resolve the matter of finding your mother a pair of shoes.
The issue of poor in store service will most certainly be relayed to our Regional Manager and be addressed with the store.
Kind regards
