Poor after sales service.
I went to Green Cross store in Clearwater Mall on 12 May 2018 to purchase a comfortable pair of black and navy shoes for work. I was very clear that the shoes needs to be comfortable because I stand during the day. The sales assistant sold me 2 pairs of Aerosole shoes at R1329 each. On Monday 13 May 2018 I wore the black pair to work. My feet soon started aching. My heels were sore, skin broken, the top of my toes hurt and it felt like I was walking on the floor. I phoned them the Tuesday morning and arranged the to bring the shoes in on that Friday, I also contacted the customer callcentre, They called me back the next day, was very friendly but could not assist in anyway. When I arrived at the store on Friday 16 May 2018, the staff was very uncooperative. The refused to credit the black pair because I wore it. They sent it to Cape Town for evaluation, it game back from Cape Town. The message on the note reads 'do not credit, nothing wrong with shoes.' I feel that if a company says they pride themselves on quality and comfort, at a huge price, they need to look at each case individually. I did not wear the shoes for two weeks and then decide it is uncomfortable. I wore the shoes for half a day and immediately contacted the branch, yet they refused to listen to me. If you pay R1329 for a pair of shoes then you expect that shoe to be comfortable and to last, therefor I feel the shoes did not meet the expectations and warrant a credit to be approved but Green Cross just said no they will not credit the shoe. I do not care that they say there is nothing wrong with the shoe, it is acutely uncomfortable and I cannot wear the shoes. I will never buy from Green cross again it is the biggest ******* ever and I will tell as many people as I possibly can, to stay away.
