Given the Boot!

In January 2015, purchased two pairs of schools shoes from Greencross Gateway, for both my seven year old and nine year old. Five months later the soles and heels were badly worn on both pairs. Neither of my children are overweight, neither do they walk to or from school. When back home they change out of their school uniforms. That last week in July I visited the store at Gateway. A female manager, after inspecting the shoes, told me that it was very unusual for a \GreenGross"shoe too were out so quickly. I was asked to bring them in with proof of purchase which I did a few days later. A month later the head office calls back to say that the shoes were inspected and returned to their Gateway store with report saying it was \""fair wear and tear\"" and \""customers fault\"". I had lengthy discussions thereafter with representative at the Greencross H/O but to no avail. They finally got back to me to say that their decision was final"
