Racial treatment at Green and Gold

The star I gave is for the quality of the food. It is with disgust and disappointment that my husband and I decided to never ever put foot in Green and Gold again. We arrived sunday 2nd May at appr 15h00 and sat at table 16 specifically to watch the F1 race and for the food we like. We ordered a bottle of wine and a mussel pot for starters. At 16h00 we were the only two (whites) watching the Grand Prix on the big screen. Halfway through the race we order more wine and the main meals. At approx. 17h00 coloured clients arrived who told the manager they want to watch soccer. She explained to then we are watching the F1, and moved them next to the bar. In a few minutes there after they returned, complaining about the aircon. We were halfway through our main meal when the manageress approached us requesting us to move to the bar area to watch the F1 there because these people booked., and more black people are coming who wants to watch the soccer. I rep**** that is racial and there are about 7 laps left and the soccer is not on yet. My husband rep**** that we will leave and never come back. Her reply was ...she is sorry, but so be it, and brought me a takeaway box. Our bill came to R575.00. When I asked her why did she not inform us when we arrived....she said she did not think it was necessary. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Thanks Green and Gold.
