VERY POOR MANAGEMENT

On Monday the 29th of April 2018, my wife and I went for dinner and drinks. The ambiance, service from the waiter and ****tails were very good, the food and attitude of the manager was however less than desirable.

My wife ordered the pork belly, which she rather enjoyed except for the outer skin which she said had a slightly burnt taste. I ordered the 5 spice duck with egg fried rice. The duck came with a mushroom sauce which was extremely salty that it actually left my tongue tingling. The duck was wrapped in its skin and had a coating over which tasted burnt. The duck on the inside was however rather tender. After removing the burnt outer crust and skin, I was left with half of the what was served.

When the Waiter came back to the table, I complained about the meal, he stated that that is how it was prepared. Shortly thereafter the Manager came past the table and asked if everything was fine, I again complained about the meal. The manager apologized and went away.

The waiter after sometime again arrived and stated that the Chef had tasted the sauce and did agree that it was salty and apologized. The waiter offered us free desert thereafter of which I declined based on the poor food received.

The manager never came back to apologize or even offer any concession on our poor meal. This, I feel, is rather terrible on the part of management and is something that could maybe use some attention.
