Great Dane Breeder Van Roxhel Helena Kruger

September 2020 we were blessed with our adoption of Hera our Great Dane, "a registered dog with an exceptional German bloodline." Little did we know our dream of owning a Great Dane will be shattered into a million pieces and serious heartache. Our Dane started bleeding from the mouth and she was raced to the vet, as we thought she ate something that might have cut her or got stuck like an old bone dug up. The vet suspected an infection and possibly cancer. I informed H Kruger of this and that if any of her dogs ever had cancer or any ailments she must please inform us that we can start treatmemt immediately. She denied that any of her dogs have ever had cancer or health ailments. when I mentioned that our Vet said it could be hereditary, Kruger was irrtable with me. Hera was sent home with antibiotics and painkillers and three teeth had to be pulled. One week passed with no improvement and after her next check-up Cancer was shortly confirmed in our 1 year and 5 month old baby, it became so aggressive and the tumor (where the tooth were pulled) couldn't heal and Hera was non-stop bleeding. It was suggested that she is euthanized. I could not understand what happened and my gut feeling told me I needed to do research. There were no adverts/social pages found of H Kruger and her kennel Van Roxhel. I kept digging and came across a story of a dog called Zues on Facebook. Zues was also bred by H Kruger and had another list of serious health implications. When Zues' story was shared in 2020 more cases came up of pups bred by H Kruger. Contacting the affected people, I have heard only more horror stories of what pets and their owners have gone through, with a wide variety of different health ailments and enormous vet bills. Dishonesty about which parents were the correct ones and old photos of them being sent to new buyers. To my dismay, I realized a few things seemed inaccurate on her Canine SA certificate. I then found out she was deregistered and banned by Canine SA and KUSA. **********ly, she sold us a Canine SA registered dog.

Upon confronting Helena, she simply blocked us after sending a voice message telling us, 'how dare you'.
