Robbing Parents

I’m very disappointed with Grant leigh school in March I receive email from Nicola Green who told me that I owe R21000 for 2017 on her record my child left in March, but I told her that my child is no longer in their school since December 2016, I ask her how come the school don’t know that and only find that now, I also ask her who was signing my child as present. then she reply to say “My apologies, after further investigation it seems there was a miscommunication between admin and finance. We will reverse February and March’s fees, however January is still due and payable. ” and she referred me to my contract of which its 2016 contract. I rep**** to her to say the contract says “9.1 the account holder undertakes to give 1 term’s written notice of termination of the enrolment of a student, failing which the liability be incurred for the full amount of the following term’s fee.” Then I responded to her to say I don’t owe any money. My child attended all 4 terms in 2016 and the fees for 2016 were paid in fully (Term 1 to term 4). The school gave out the form last year to confirm if the child will be attending the following year 2017, please also note that I didn’t sign the form confirming my child will be attending, that’s why I don’t understand why the school says I owe January fees as I did not enrol my child at your school in 2017. She than send email to Julius Truter and cc me, the e-mail says “Hi Julius, Please read below and advise.” and Julius never reply and that was the last communication I had with them. until 10th of November I receive sms to say I’ve been handed over to Attorneys. what I don’t understand is that which term are they talking about?
