Above and beyond

My heartfelt compliment and thank you goes out to Meagan Fortuin of Grand West ice rink section. Not only does she skate like a swan but she is a first aider on the ice. She really went beyond the call of duty when she attended to my son who had fell and injured his back. Meagan came across as professional and took over the scene. I was kept informed as she proceeded to do a full body assessment on my son. His injury was so serve that she had to call in an ambulance. In came Victor another paramedic who deserves to be praises. He really wears his work on his sleeves. Thank you for the through assessment and professional advise. Within no time the government ambulance was on the scene and my son was whisked away to Tygerberg hospital. Amongst the other trauma patients that were being wheeled in I must say the nurses and doctors really went out of their way to restore my faith in state facilities. Even though yesterday was my birthday and i celebrated it in fear of the outcome of my sons accident I have to say Thank you to everyone that was involved in my sons accident. Thank you. Ngiyabonga.
