Good day, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a loan application I made with Grand Real Credit. I communicated with a consultant via WhatsApp on +***5. During the process, I was requested to make several payments as follows: • R300.00 initially • Thereafter R800.00, which I indicated I could not afford, and this was reduced to R400.00 for what was explained as an “IMF Code” (paid) • R700.00 for a “Swift Code” (paid) • R500.00 for a “COT fee” (paid) After making all the above payments, I was informed that the transaction was pending. Approximately two hours later, I was told that the transaction had failed and that I am now required to pay an additional R500.00. I am extremely concerned about the repeated payment requests and the legitimacy of these charges. I request immediate clarification regarding this matter, including a full explanation of the fees charged and the status of my loan application.
