GRAND PRIX MODELS PRICES NOT TO BE TRUSTED

Don't ever trust the prices advertised on their web site, or the staff giving a damn about price discrepancies. I saw Balsa wood sheets advertised on their website at R45 for a 2mm sheet. Considering this a decent price, I drove out to the store, only to be faced with a price of R70 per sheet. As I needed the products to complete a model (and, at the current price of fuel, having incurred significant travel costs already), I did not have much choice than buying it. After pointing this discrepancy out to the staff, I was met by a general attitude of complete apathy. I suggested, very politely of course, that they update and maintain their web site as this amouneds to false advertising. Again complete apathy.
