FITTING BAD QUALITY TYRES ON USED CARS

Last year I purchased a used Honda Accord and according to the sales person Grand Central Motors took the car to their tyre supplier and fitted new 18 inch low profile tyres at a cost of approximately R10K. A year and a half later when I went for the second rotation I was told the tyres are badly worn and need to be replaced. Then I contacted Grand Central Motors to lodge a query and thought they will own up but they took me from pillar to post. I have subsequently upon doing my own research found out that the tyre brand (HIFLY) that Grand Central Motors fitted on my car is the worst in terms of quality and one of the cheapest if not the cheapest tyre on the market. After the tyre was inspected at the wheel alignment I was told the tyres have flat spots and splits and have to be replaced urgently.<br> <br> Lesson learned is NEVER trust a used car dealership even if it is part of some big brand car dealership, they can also be ************ in their dealings.
