I went to Grand Care Dental Edenvale to get braces in August 2023 using medical aid. I went for my installation, and we later learnt that the medical aid doesn't cover braces, the receptionist advised that i make extra monthly payments towards my treatment to cover the initial amount. Fast Forward i had loss of income and was unable to go continue my treatment. in May 2025 i reached out so i can continue with the treatment and make monthly repayments as iv already paid R11 OOO towards my treatment and i am told NO i need to pay R9000 to continue, they refuse to let me speak to the doctor nor provide me her number or at least an appointment to have a sit down with her, so we can have a way forward. i need to complete my treatment and make monthly payments towards the medical expense but the receptionists are gate keeping and giving stories on how i cannot speak to the doctor. I asked Mpho how a reasonable person would refuse to assist a client that's willing to make payment and get the treatment unless they have things to hide in that file. I really need help cz I don't have R9000 laying around but i can make monthly payments towards my treatment
