Poor/disgusting service delivery

Reposting due to no responses from Grafton

Poor service received from Bed2go/ Grafton Everest

I am very disappointed in the service I got from Grafton Everest. I purchased a 3 piece lounge suite with 3 recliners from Bed2go Durban around 3 years ago. I had issues with the suite within 1.5 years, which after much ups and downs with the store, escalated to Grafton Everest directly, the suite was repaired, however this was still not up to standard. After sending emails upon emails there was no help. I finally sent an email to Grafton again in January 2022, asking them to please assist me as the lounge suite as it was getting worse and due to my medical condition, i need the lounge suite to be comfortable. Only in May did the repair agent come to my place to assess the lounge suite. On this day, while the agent is repairing the 2 seater, he found Boris (wood eating worms) in the suite. He did not even look at the rest of the suites and said he will give feedback to Grafton. I immediately sent an email to Grafton regarding the findings and wanted the suite removed from my home due to the Boris. They escalated the matter to head office. Head office response was that i escalated to the store as it not factory defects, knowing that I only liaise with Grafton for the last 2 years. I send numerous emails and calls to Grafton thereafter and to date is still awaiting feedback. I have a trail of emails sent to Grafton. The suite is still under warranty. I have sent numerous mails on my concern and my medical condition but they don't seem to care. I bought the lounge suite cash. All I want the lounge suite taken back and my money back. I am utterly disappointed in Grafton and can not have infested furniture in my home. I have being emailing and calling grafton for the past 3 weeks. No one is replying to me or calling me back. I spoke to Kim, 3 weeks ago but she did not get back to me as promised. I called Chante and left messages but to date no response. Regards N Dabi

Good day Nitasha, thank you for reaching out to us. We have looked further into your complaint, as per the further investigation and inspection done, there were no factory defects found. The timber at Grafton Everest is chemically treated for termites and is checked when received and before going through the manufacturing process.
However  a gesture of customer goodwill, Grafton Everest is willing to assist you to replace the infected timber at your premises at no extra cost to you or we can offer you to purchase a replacement unit at a discounted price.  For the above mentioned you may contact the office (Nash/Kim) on *** to notify them.

Thank you

Regards
