Avoid 51 Stanley Grace Umhlanga at All Costs – Unsafe and Severely Misrepresented Property

Our booking at 51 Stanley Grace in Umhlanga, Durban, was an absolute nightmare. The photos online were completely misleading. The house was in a shocking state—filthy carpets, no curtains in any of the bedrooms or bathrooms, broken and leaking toilets, exposed and dangerous wiring, and non-functional air conditioning. We felt unsafe and unhygienic staying even one night and had to immediately find alternative accommodation elsewhere.

The property manager was entirely unresponsive, and the contact number listed was disconnected. To make matters worse, they refused to refund us, and Booking.com enabled them by releasing the funds during the dispute.

This property should be removed from all booking platforms. It is a complete misrepresentation and a health and safety risk.
