*********, unprofessional, manipulating, lying and ***ist company. Rude as **** employers/ees! ?

Let's keep it short as possible: (I know they only respond to good ratings, so this is for all people who are considering taking their car to them) I booked in my BMW 118i for a Drivetrain error that I received in June. I was told that this is a cooling system issue and had to replace the whole cooling system after I explicitly told the technician that it's an engine issue merely due to the fact that my car jerks when I start it and drive. Nonetheless, I disregarded the ************** against my knowledge in the motor industry. After almost a month of back and forth and frustration, I was eventually told to collect my vehicle. Not even 48hours after collection, the drivetrain error came back (As I also told the technician this would happen). 4 days after the error came back on, I was on my way home when my car suddenly just switched off while driving. My husband called the technician who had the audacity to tell him it's because I never replace the water pump. After further investigation, I found that the wiring from the Auxi****y pump (Where they worked) was loose and went into the pulley system. (I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like a water pump issue). Please be careful with these people. When quoting you on parts, please get a second opinion as their prices are not competitive at all. There were two items they quoted me that I got for half the price they quoted me and it's exactly the SAME PART! Be careful with them. Good luck

Thank you for your review Sandi.

Unfortunately, this is not a full representation of the facts. You first indicated you were certain the drivetrain error was with the "universal". The drivetrain warning light indicates errors with axle, prop shafts, side shafts as well as engine and transmission. We rely on the output from our diagnostic tests to indicate the error codes. In this case, the error code clearly indicated the aux. pump was faulty (not your whole cooling system).
You indicated you were working from home and didn't need the car. The delays were caused, in part, by your lengthy interactions with your warranty company and your service history.
Once the aux. pump was fitted, we ran pressure tests which then showed the water pump was leaking. You declined to give the go ahead to repair. It is entirely reasonable to see why the drivetrain warning light would re-appear.
Six days after collection of your car, the wire harness from the aux. pump was damaged. We are of the opinion the alternator belt broke and damaged the harness. You are correct, the wire harness damage doesn't sound like a water pump issue as the two are not related at all.
As communicated in verbally and in writing, our offer of a free diagnostic test is still open to assist you.
