They have to be shut down
1 star is not even brough to rate this hour of a business. A year later and my mini cooper S is still stationary. Took a ca r in for a service, they called me and told me I would have to replace rear break pads and discs. Quoted me +-R7000. Told them I'll have to bring my car back as I had not budgeted for that. Later on the 07 November 2017 went to fetch my car and on my way home car dies. Called them to inform them of what had happened they told me get the car towed back to them but I told them they would have to come tow the car since they obviously did something wrong. Car was towed to them. Less than an hour of the car being towed back they call me and tell me it was a petrol pump but all is well. By then it was a bit late for me to fetch the car. Went back on the 08 November to fetch my car. Whilst driving all this warning signs started flashing. I drove into a garage a few kilometres from their garage and when the guys opened my bornet, there was smoke coming out when they checked the water level not even a single drop of water. Whether these guys drained my water and neglected pouring water back in or what happened only they can tell. I dropped my car at their garage in a perfect condition, with water in the car. And they have the decency to say pouring water in a car when servicing it is not their function. Still wondering if I should have asked for water from them to pour into my car before driving out...
You took the car to another workshop, which we have a report saying the water and oil level was correct. We did an oil service. According to the official Mini service schedule, we don't need to check water or pressure test the cooling system.
