Govenders Curry Kitchen Midrand

It's my very first time I was taken to this place by my friend. I was told it's halal but I didn't see a halal certificate however my friend insisted that they were halal and him being a muslim I trusted him. I looked around for Muslim diners there were none. I ordered a mutton curry with roti and my friend ordered a mutton bunny chow. First impression when i walked in it looked like a regular take away. The tables were sticky and dusty. The extractor was pushing out right where we were seated. Our food came to us cold. The container in which the curry was served looked old and gungy. My friend convinced me to join him there as he said their food was divine. Nope I disagree the food was tasteless and lousy. I couldn't eat it anymore. I waited for my friend to his food and we left. I come from the famous Manjras of Durban family and I know what I good mutton curry should taste like. Totally disappointed.
