GOVAN MANI MIDLANDS MALL

Today, Sunday 22-03-2015, I went to Govan Mani at Peitermaritzburg Midlands Mall to try and replace my Sony Mp3 player walkman. I walked in to the said store and was approached by ****ha(a sales lady and Govan Mani employee). I explained what I was looking for and as I reached into my handbag to pull out the device I had to show her what I was looking for, another consultant approached her and handed her a phone. Instead of saying she was busy with a client she took a call that sounded to me (as I stood and waited) like a personal. Now, I don't know Govan Mani protocol in respect of calls but I don't believe it is appropriate company policy for sales consultants to take calls mid prospective sales in front of a potential clients. I was so very disgusted and put off by her conduct so much so that action was the difference between me buying a different device (since I couldn't get what I wanted) and me not buying a device at all. The most shocking part to me was she could pull a stunt like that the day after Human Rights Day (a recognises public holiday in SA). I am entitled to be treated with dignity. ****ha should have upheld the integrity of Govan Mani and didn't. That's disgustin
