Filthy rondavel, rude staff

The receptionist was very rude and argumentative because she couldn't find my payments on the system. I am also not an ATKV member, and that also seemed to make her even less willing to assist me. Eventually after a lot of arguing with me, she found my payments on the system and handed over the rondavel keys without even a hint of an apology. The bathroom in the rondavel had mould growing all around the shower, and the bathroom smelled like wee. I have a young son at home, I know that happens when some wee lands around the toilet and is not cleaned up. Leads me to believe that the cleaning was not thorough. When I opened the oven there was still pieces of meat stuck to the grill from previous tenants. There was a massive hole in the built in braai making it useless. The kitchen is very poorly equipped with the only frying pan being so warped that one half of the eggs I was trying to fry never cooked. There are no oven mitts, kitchen cloths or towels in the rondavel, forcing me to use the bath mat to take a hot dish out of the oven on the first day. The pools and other facilities in the resort are great, just the rondavels are terrible. Cleaners came to the rondavel to clean every morning, but calling it cleaning is a bit exaggerated. Actually they bring toiletpaper or a clean bath mat if needed and sweep the floor. That's it. On one day I asked if they could take out the kitchen trash, they told me to do it myself. So I said fine, but please bring me a new bin liner, they said they would but never returned. Won't be back.
