money taken without booking

<p>Do yourself a favour and save yourself the anguish and stress. Pay the extra few bucks to work with the airline.</p> <p>as a follow up to the last post, I am now at 8 days without money being returned for a technical glitch on Gotogate's system.</p> <p>First, system takes funds and then asks you to resubmit. When you resubmit it takes the funds again, in my case without a booking.</p> <p> </p> <p>Customer service will repeatedly say "sorry for the inconvenience" but there is nothing they can do about returning the funds taken. Just wait a few more days. In the mean time ticket prices are changing, you can't book car hire or hotels, your travel plans are at the mercy of this sub class institution.</p> <p> </p> <p>Shocking in this day and age that a company like this still exists...</p>
