I booked a flight from Beijing to Johannesburg (Booking no:2UB3TB) but due to a change in circumstances, I did not need to take the flight. After numerous communications to SAA and Gogogate requesting for a cancellation of my booking and a refund of my ticket, I was told that of the R8239 ticket, they would take R5200 plus taxes. When I queried them telephonically, their representative told me that it was what Gogogate and SAA policies stipulated. It is shocking that in this day and age, they can be allowed to exploit and ******* people like me. This disgusting treatment is most unacceptable and I strongly discourage anyone to use their services.
