100% cancelation fee charged

I recently booked a flight on goto gate. On Friday I was informed that due to unforseen circumstances I would no longer need to travel and I opted to cancel the flight hoping that I could get a partial refund as the flight was through SAA and their policy states that they only apply a R250 administration fee and then 25 to 50% cancelation fee based on which flight you booked.

Gotogate informed me that I would not get any money back however after doing more research I was told that I should at least have gotten half of the money back.

I have tried to correspond but I have not received NY feedback. After all. They have their money and it seems that means no customer service.
