If you made an in-app purchase and need a refund you are in for a huge ordeal. You can expect to be send on your marry way runing in circles for days. You will soon come to the conclusion that you are out of pocket on your purchase you made. Never to see it again. And here is why.
Google will not issue you a refund for 3rd party in app purchases period. Good luck in trying to find the actual reason for the refund refusal. All you will get is that it's a violation of their policy. A policy that doesn't stipulate where the violation comes from. And don't think you can get the refund because you submitted a request within 2 hours as their policy tells you. You still will not get a refund.
But OK. Google aside. What's next. Well Google play will tell you to contact the developer. Shame... Good luck with that. Just like Google the developers (if you are so lucky to get hold of one) can refuse a refund. Which leaves you out of pocket with something you didn't want or made a error in purchasing it. Yes you should also never make use of said purchase or you will definitely forfeit a refund. But in the end you will be ****** of your money. As a customer you are entering a ecosystem that's not designed for the best of the consumer.
I like many others have been there and done that with mistaken purchases. You are literally on your own. My insident happened on 31 January 2022
My advice... Don't do in app purchases. And if you do, be sure it's what you want. I lost half my sallary on a purchase made in error. Reported it to Google play within 2 hours. Refund rejected. Left to deal with a developer that ignores you. End result. You are left to dry and sulk in your sorrows and being ****** of your money knowing there is absolutely nothing you can do.
