Goodwill Motors (Blue downs) Shop No. 1, Corner of Bluedowns & Forest, Caltex Garage, Blue Downs Way, Hillcrest Heights, Cape Town, 7100
I want to make people aware of the poor service. I changed my 4 tires at Goodwill Tires (Blue downs) less than 6 months ago. I got to their service station after 5 and they did replace my tires and did alignment just before closing. On my way home as I go around the circle I noticed my steering is skew, but was to late to turn around as I was the last car in the work shop. I took the car back the next day and noticed on my certificate the alignment was done on a Chevy Aveo and I am driving a Spark 1.2LS 2016. The guy did the alignment the next day again but this time on a Spark 2*** and told me it does not make a difference. As I was driving I picked up the car is not as smooth as it was before as the steering was harder to turn, but because I trusted them I left it like that. A few weeks down the line I picked up that if I am driving about 100 or 120 the steering vibrate. I am no expert in this but realized something was wrong and decide to take my car to Supaquik, who picked up the alignment was never done correctly and the tires worn off on the inside. I contacted Goodwill and the owner told me I am negligent and should have checked my car daily to check if my tires worn out unusually and it's not his problem that I am to lazy to check my car, I explained to him I got 2 cars and I changed my tires on the other car at another service station 2 months before i did my Spark and why is that tires not worn out or no vibrations on the steering, he told me it's my problem I'm to lazy to check my tires. I had to replace my 2 front tires at Supaquik and did my alignment again, not even 6 months after I bought new tires at Goodwill tires. The owner just get rude as I tried to explain to him what my problem was. I only picked up afterwards also the dates on my certificates were also wrong plus the wrong car models. Please make people aware of this service station and check the dates on their papers as they are really unprofessional and their after sales service sucks.
