Good Hope Maitland are *******.

I am absolutely disgusted with the service I received at Goodhope Tyres in Maitland on Saturday, 6 December 2025. I went in to replace my tyres and personally pointed out the exact tyre I wanted kept as my spare. When the job was “done,” I checked everything right there in the workshop and immediately realised they had taken the good tyre I pointed out and put a worn-out, unsafe tyre as my spare instead. When I questioned this, the owner gave me a ridiculous excuse, claiming that “a guy” had left with the tyre. This is impossible, I was the only customer there that entire morning. Instead of taking responsibility, he brushed me off, patronised me, and pretended he would call me back after taking my number. Of course, that call never came. The dishonesty and complete disregard for my safety are unacceptable. Tyres are a critical safety item, and there is no excuse for swapping out the tyre I specifically chose. I left feeling disrespected, deceived, and taken advantage of. *******
