****** at the tropicana hotel

<p>Last week Thursday somebody knocked at our hotel room 417 and said it was room service. We opened the door and a man with a knife and a gun came into our room and demanding we give him our phones and took all our money. I was with my 3 sisters. Luckily he didn't **** us as it was just 3 ladies in the room , my sister was half dressed as she had just finished bathing. </p> <p>The man left the room and my sister ran out screaming for help. I called housekeeping trying to get hold of reception, where they told me wrong number call 1206 reception. Ended up running down the stairs to try get help. There where policeman booked in that hotel 7who took it upon themselves to call the police and try to calm one of my sisters down who was in a state. </p> <p>The hotel staff just stood there, we where told the general manager Ryan couldn't come down because he had knocked off and was assisted by the junior manager who was not of much help.</p> <p>Next morning Ryan came and we had to go look for him and he was very rude. We had to fight him and get my boyfriend to call him for him to take is seriously. He actually said reasonable people go with travel insurance and that we cant surely expect him to be signing cheques for lost phones and money. He eventually sent an email to his bosses and insurance told us the hotel would refund us the money we booked with on Monday.</p> <p> </p> <p>Sadly we havent heard from the hotel yet. They don't bother to call or give us an update. This happened in their hotel. A place that has cameras that are not working? Surely there has to be something done, clearly this people dont care and its a pity that this is a big company gooderson.</p>
