NEVER GO FOR THEIR BUSINESS

<p>I was on holiday with my family in january in one of the gooderson hotels in durban. we were approched by a lady that was doing promotions for the gooderson company. we went for the presentation that took almost 2 hours and at the end we joined. we even won a voucher for a discounted vacation.</p> <p> </p> <p>the problem started when we wanted to cash in for the voucher, we made our choice for the hotel we want to go to. i could see that there was no reply from them if there received the voucher and when they are going to confirm the accomodation. i ended up calling them to my suprise they cannot make a booking until my points are updated and i pay the subsription amount ( but why would i need to pay for that if i am using a voucher, even if i did not join i was entitled to use the voucher, they was no T&C saying that only members can use it).</p> <p> </p> <p>little did i know that was the first of my many problems, now i cannot cancel my membership as they put it i am bound to it for 60 months, i am not a lawyer but if something is not on the contract and you did not sign for it then they cannot bound you in anyway. i even sent them the copy of the contract so that they can show me where does it state that, till today i am waiting for the manager to give me call. on the day of the presentation we were told if we are not happy we can cancel at anytime depending if we do not owe anything. I told them i am ot happy and i do not owe them anything i would like to cancel but they still insist on the 60 months of which i have no idea where it comes from.</p> <p>i even told them i do not care if i get a refund for the amount i have paid, they can keep it as long as i do not have to deal with them again.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
