Unfair dissmissal

I was advised to call the Head office and find out about my queries. I did so but I was surprised by their answer, when they told me that they have nothing or powers to dismiss someone who work for the shop because they are the Franchise all they do is to supply with the stock. So its quite obvious that the shop owners were telling lies to me but I am surprised again by the fact that they do not want to pay me for the days that I have worked.
