Bad treatment to workers

I was employed by the company situated in Bethlehem, Free State. The shop got a visit from Head office later after the visit. We were called one on one meeting and the shop managers told me that the head office is complaining about my employment and that I should be dismissed from job with immediate effect. I contacted head office and they rep**** saying they do not know anything about that. so I went back to the shop owners asking them about the payment for the days I have been worked for, because I was told to report to work from 8h00 morning to 17h00 and my duties were to deliver the stock to the customers, help with general merchandising of stock in the shop, distribute pamphlets to customers and market their products. I even had to do the deliveries at 17h00. When I confronted the managers they would become furious and swear at me telling me that they have got nothing to pay and even ask some of the staff members to throw me out of the shop. Is it fair that I do not get compensated for the days I have worked for? I am using money to get to work and for lunch hoping to get compensated at the end of the month and now this is how I am being reward?
