Goodfellas Good Luck Goodbye

Fellow members (And potential new users), if you relying on a smart way home, be warned! Called for collection for approx 17:00. 18:00 collection was confirmed as soonest available. During this period the driver who was scheduled to collect had a "Family emergency" and was unable to collect. Nobody else in the greater PE area was available to do the collection as per Good Fellas service criteria. How is this even possible? Are we to believe Good Fellas has one team servicing the whole of PE on a Saturday early evening in holiday season? A Bolt driver was offered - when queried how my vehicle would get home or collected the following day no assistance was offered. I drive a 7 seater and had 5 passengers - no concern or consideration on how we would all fit into our friendly Bolt drivers vehicle was forthcoming. When asked to elevate the problem to manager, was told manager doesn't take calls on weekends. (Was also told manager would call first thing on Monday morning - still waiting...) While standing in the rain waiting for our confirmed 18.00 collection and trying to discuss a solution on line, one of my passengers simply called a competitor company, of which he was not a member, and driver was there within 15 min. We have been a paying member for over 10 years with Good Fellas. Probably utilize their services once annually. Happily paid for the monthly premiums (R119.) for comfort of knowing they would be there when i needed them... Turns out I was wrong...
