I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel it’s important for parents to hear different experiences when choosing a school. After moving from a previous school where there were no behavioural concerns, my 4-year-old began struggling significantly in this environment. The majority of communication I received related to focus and listening in class. There were two incidents documented regarding physical behaviour, with one also communicated via WhatsApp. Later, this behaviour was described to us as occurring daily, which did not align with the pattern of reports I had received, and this inconsistency was concerning. I am open to psychological support for my child and had already begun the process through medical aid, which involves standard authorisation timelines. Ultimately, I felt that the environment and approach at this school were not the right fit for my child’s emotional and developmental needs. When I made the difficult decision to withdraw my children, the response I received felt unprofessional and added unnecessary pressure during an already stressful situation. This further confirmed that this was not the right environment for our family. This decision was not made lightly and was made with my children’s wellbeing as the priority. I share this to encourage parents to ask questions, seek clarity, and trust their instincts, not every school is the right fit for every child.
