Ethics becomes Lying!
"We have embraced the King IV principles of ethical leadership"
The above quote was made by the CEO, Gys Joubert of Gondwana Collection, Namibia.
Well my recent experience with both Gondwana Collection and their "arrogant legal advisers", leaves me questioning their "embracement of ethical leadership"!
During June 2021, whilst visiting Gondwana Collection, Etosha Safari Lodge, I slipped on what appeared to be a sand/dust covered staircase at the entrance of the Lodge.
Gondwana Collection refused liability for this incident nor would they provide any requested documentation pertaining to the incident.
Upon requesting Gondwana Collection for their Insurance Accessors Report (Hollard), which they claimed the findings exonerated them from any liability, this was refused and I was informed to obtain same through the proper legal avenues.
Both Hollard Namibia and Gondwana Collection's Legal Secretary confirmed in writing that the Accessors Report indeed did exonerate them.
Upon appointing a Legal Advisor in Namibia to now obtain this "Accessors Report" legally, we were duly informed by Gondwana Collection Legal Team, Messrs Francois Erasmus & Partners, that there never was an "Accessors Report" and even if there was, they will not provide it!
I was also advised by Messrs Erasmus & Partners to refrain from making comments on Social Media, of which I have subsequently been "blocked"!
So my question remain - where does Gondwana Collection "Ethnics" come into play here?
